The Destruction of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Slovinje nr. Lipljan

The church  of St. Nicolas in Slovinje was built in the 16th century and was later rebuilt. It was first set on fire by the Albanian extremists a week ago and on July 15, 1999 at 2.00 a.m. it was completely demolished by explosive. At least 100 kg. of explosive was used for the demolition of this church. In the course of the last few weeks the last remaining 30 Serbs were expelled from this village in the vicinity of Pristina.
